Converts

At the New Brunswick Islamic Center, we recognize that converts to Islam often need special support and resources along the way.  Many of our longtime, most dedicated community members are converts themselves, and are able to assist newcomers with sensitivity and first-hand experience.  With that in mind, we aim to provide a number of special programs and services directed specifically at those who embrace Islam. If you need assistance with learning the basics of Islam, or with getting connected to the community, reading material, or other needs, please contact our convert care coordinator, kim@nbic.org, for assistance.
