<p>On June 2, NBIC will be holding it&#8217;s annual community picnic at Colonial Park in Somerset New Jersey. Rain date will be June 3, more information will be availible as the date nears.</p>
<p>June 9, NBIC will be holding a program entitled &#8220;Foster Care Parenting, What Every Muslim Family Needs to Know&#8221; speakers at this event will include Dr. Aref Assaf, Dr. Shadee Elmasry and Ray Ortiz. For more information see flier below.</p>

<li><span style="font-size: small;">Provide on-site surveys and review of programs</span></li>
<li><span style="font-size: small;">Create programs upon request.</span></li>
<li><span style="font-size: small;">Attend necessary workshops, events and training seminars</span></li>
<li><span style="font-size: small;">Communicate policy and information to program staff</span></li>
<li><span style="font-size: small;">Communicate program status with the board members on weekly basis</span></li>

<li><span style="font-size: small;">  Personable and able to work within a customer service framework</span></li>
<li><span style="font-size: small;">  Refined and well-organized with multi-tasking skills</span></li>
<li><span style="font-size: small;">  Strong communication skills (written and verbal)</span></li>
<li><span style="font-size: small;">  Strong computer skills, including MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access)</span></li>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>The Center for Middle East Studies at Rutgers, the State University of New Jersey, is pleased to announce an exciting new opportunity at Rutgers for faculty in Social Studies and related fields. In collaboration with the New Brunswick Islamic Center, we will be offering a one-week Teacher Institute this summer on the topic of Islam and the Muslim World, from Monday, July 16 to Friday, July 20, 2012. This highly topical summer institute will explore Muslim cultures, languages, literatures, media, and Muslim communities in America from a scholarly perspective, building upon Rutgers’ strengths in these areas. The program will also include a three-hour workshop on bullying and harrassment. Participants will meet from 9am until 4:30pm.</p>
<p>The entire program is available to participants for a $300 registration fee, which includes a Middle Eastern-themed lunch at Sahara Restaurant at 165 Easton Avenue in New Brunswick, NJ. The Rutgers Division of Continuing Studies will also issue a certificate for 3.0 CEUs to interested participants for an additional fee of $30. For participants who wish to spend the night in New Brunswick, low-cost accommodations are also available through the Rutgers Continuing Education Conference Center, which offers doubles at the rate of $70 per night.</p>
