Prayer Services

From NBIC’s beginnings in the late 1980s, one of the primary functions of our center has been to facilitate the performance of prayers.  Prayer is one of the pillars which form the support for an Islamic life, both as individuals and as communities.  As such, one of our most important services is the offering of various congregational prayers.

We host a wide range of prayer activities including:

• Five daily prayers
• Friday prayers
• Tarawih prayers in Ramadan
• ‘Eid prayers
• Janazah prayers

Currently the center is open between Zuhr Salat and Isha Salat and is open for Fajr. Please come by throughout the day and visit the New Brunswick Islamic Center.
