Programs & Services

At NBIC, we have always believed that the most important element of our organization is the programs and services that we are able to offer to the community.  To that end, we have always endeavored to provide a wide range of activities, which appeal to a diverse population inside the Muslim community and in the community at large.  More specifically, in the United States, houses of worship are not only places where religious rites are performed, rather they are also centers of intellectual growth, social interaction, activism, business development, outreach, crisis counseling, and much more.  The New Brunswick Islamic Center strives to meet the myriad needs of a varied population.  We strive to serve the “whole Muslim”–by offering activities and services which cater to the various aspects of the lives of those who use our center.  While prayer and religious services/programming  Our new facility provides us with the space to deliver more, varied services to the public.

Our programs and services include:

• Social events and activities

In the near future, we hope to increase our offerings based on possibilities afforded by our new facility.  Future activities may include (currently in development):
